Four roof window reveals redone in plasterboard
After the roof windows were replaced, the reveals had been badly redone and no longer lined up. We rebuilt the reveals of all 4 roof windows in plasterboard, then applied two coats of paint. Three days on site.

The problem
The roof windows had just been replaced, but the reveals, the inside linings around the windows, had been badly redone. The boards were not square and the lines no longer matched from one window to the next. Up close you could see gaps between the boards, bare timber and crumbling corners.
What we did
We took down the old reveals and fitted new plasterboard, cut to measure for each window, using all four roof windows as a reference so they finally share the same lines. The joints and corners were then filled and sanded to a perfectly smooth finish.
The result
Day three was all about the finish: two coats of paint on the reveals and the surrounding ceiling for an even, lasting result. The four roof windows now have straight, clean and matching reveals.
